Alfred D. Watts Biography:

Path of Success, Inc. teaches the principles of success that Alfred D. Watts, its founder, used on his journey from the inner city streets to one of the top corporate law firms in the world. Since the age of 15, Alfred has been attending personal development seminars and studying success principles and techniques. As a high school senior he was challenged by his mentor to dream big dreams and dare to achieve them. Alfred accepted the challenge attended Choate Rosemary Hall as a post-graduate student. At Choate, Alfred began applying proven principles of truth, character and success to his studies and life, and became the firs and only one-student to ever receive Choate's highest honor, the School Seal Prize, for making the most outstanding contribution to the school.

Alfred then attended Cornell University's prestigious Hotel School, where he continued to apply his principles, and amassed numerous accomplishments. They include co-founding the National Society of Minority Hoteliers, which currently has chapters at over 30 colleges and universities, being inducted into the Quill& Dagger and Ye Hosts honor societies, and traveling on a 100-day voyage around the world. At the end of his four years, Alfred was again recognized for making the most outstanding contribution to a school. He was awarded the Hotel School's highest award, the coveted Joseph Drown Prize, which was accompanied by a cash prize of $15,000.

The words of Alfred's mentor continue to shape his life today. After graduating from the Howard University School of Law ranked fourth in his class, he served as a judicial clerk for the honorable Ellen B. Burnes of the United States District Court, as a corporate law associate at Davis, Polk & Wardwell in New York City and as Legal Counsel at Mitsubishi Chemical America, Inc. Alfred left the practice of law in 2001 to become Senior Pastor of Cornerstone Christian Center in Milford, CT, a sister church to Christ Tabernacle.

After reflecting upon his ascension from the inner city streets to corporate America, Alfred desired to share with others the knowledge and tools with which he had been blessed. Toward that end, he developed what is now known as the Path of Success Leadership Seminar.

In the past, valued principles of success were generally only available to business professionals. Alfred realized that the high school and college students of today are the leaders of tomorrow. He, therefore, founded Path of Success and has taught thousands of students across the country how to improve the quality of their lives and unleash their true potential.

Alfred lives in New Haven, CT with his wife Akiba and their son Avery.
